Deb Oden is Professor of Printmaking at Savannah College of Art and Design. She has also worked as visiting artist at the University of Wisconsin, artist demonstrator at the Toronto School of Art in Canada, and as artist presenter at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Oden has received numerous awards and honors for her multimedia work, including the Triennial Prize at the 5th Egyptian International Print Triennial in Cairo. She has shown extensively, including international exhibitions such as the 3rd International Experimental Engraving Biennial at the Brancovian Palace Cultural Center in Romania, and New Prints at the University of Madras, Government College of Fine Arts in Chennai, India. She received her BFA and MFA from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
