Florida Mining Gallery is pleased to present ‘Rewind: An Illustrative Look at Jacksonville’s History’, opening June 22nd. Two prominent local designers, Karen Kurycki and Varick Rosete, were invited to curate a group showcasing local creatives. Inspired by Jacksonville’s rich history, Kurycki and Rosete chose 14 Jacksonville designers to create original work illustrating our city’s past.

Additionally, Rewind is an exploration into the ways that information, skills, ideas, and materials encountered in the working world – specifically the design world- can become a source of influence and creation in an artistic practice. We look forward to this unique cross-practice investigation of Jacksonville’s history.
